EHI Provides Grant to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central MN
Bursch Travel wants to recognize and thank our partner, Enterprise Holdings International, for providing a grant to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Minnesota. It takes approximately $1500.00 to fund a match, so these funds are incredibly important for the success of BBBS and our entire community.
Since 1969, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Minnesota has believed that in every child is the potential to succeed and thrive. They make meaningful, professionally supported matches between volunteers and youth. BBBS of Central MN serves youth between the ages of 5 and 21 across a five county service area: Stearns, Benton, Sherburne, Morrison, and northern Wright County.
Bursch Travel's President and CEO, Lee Hurd, initially learned about BBBS of Central MN when her daughter, Molly, became a High School Big Sister. Molly inspired Lee and her husband Eric to become a Big Couple to their Little, Caleb, who they’ve been matched with for over 10 years. Above and beyond the match, Lee and Eric have continued to support this important cause by co-chairing the Gala in 2015, co-chairing the endowment campaign, and Lee even served as a member of the BBBS Board from 2017-2021.
