Bursch Travel Sponsor, Randy Shaver Golf Classic
Bursch Travel was proud to once again be a gold sponser of the Randy Shaver Golf Classic at Rush Creek Golf Course.
The mission of the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund is to support the cancer community in Minnesota by funding research, prevention, treatment and other programs relating to the cancer community’s needs. The Celebrity Golf Classic began in 1995, raising $27,000. It is now one of the most successful charitable golf tournaments in the state, raising more than $5 million to date.
With growing support and contributions from so many, the Randy Shaver Cancer Research & Community Fund was formed in 2003 to ensure all of the money raised through the golf event and other endeavors would be used to fund research and cancer-related projects locally in addition to a variety of other worthy causes each year. This year they raised over $400,000 between the gala with live and silent auctions and the golf event with AM & PM tournaments!
