Her connection to travel started early. Dawn still remembers taking her first flight at six years old and telling her mom that travel was what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. That early enthusiasm eventually became a career helping others experience the world for themselves.
Dawn especially enjoys the experiences that allow travelers to see more of a destination than its famous attractions. She encourages clients to make time for everyday experiences while traveling, whether that means taking a walk through town, stopping at a local grocery store, or simply experiencing a destination beyond its must-see sights.

Carolyn may be newer to the travel industry, but exploring new places has been part of her life for as long as she can remember. Her travels began with family road trips throughout the United States and expanded to international travel during high school, college, and beyond.
Her firsthand experiences have taken her to destinations around the world and shaped an appreciation for discovering places beyond their most famous attractions. One of her favorite travel memories came in Switzerland, where she found a quiet picnic spot away from the crowds, listening to snowmelt cascade over the rocks while looking out over a lake and the Alps.
Carolyn brings that curiosity to her work as a travel advisor with Bursch Travel’s Marshall team. She enjoys helping clients explore their options while continuing to build her professional destination knowledge and travel-planning expertise with the support and resources of the experienced Bursch Travel team.

A Favorite Off-the-Beaten-Path Experience? While traveling in Nepal, Carolyn and a friend wandered into a small storefront called the Peacock Shop. The owner showed them through the building—an old monastery that had become a paper factory—and eventually took them to the rooftop for a beautiful view of the Himalayas.
Top Travel Tip: Don’t be afraid to wander. Having a plan is helpful, but some of Carolyn’s favorite travel memories have come from little parks, plazas, and other places she simply stumbled across while exploring.
