With more than 25 years in the travel industry, including 21 years with Bursch Travel, Sandie brings extensive experience to travelers planning vacations around the world.
Sandie specializes in cruises, Fiji vacations, Sandals Resorts, Disney vacations, and LGBTQ+ travel. Her professional training includes becoming a Fiji Specialist, Sandals Specialist, and graduate of the Disney College of Knowledge. She has also been selected as a Travel Expert Select® in LGBTQ+ travel.
Throughout her career, Sandie has helped clients navigate everything from relaxing vacations to complex international travel arrangements. One of her most challenging requests involved coordinating a traveler’s return home from a remote area of South Africa, requiring careful planning across time zones and multiple transportation arrangements.

A Top Travel Memory? One of my favorite travel memories started when our kids were in 4th grade. They each researched a state, and we made those state trips happen. It was fun to watch the trip come together, taking what they learned and turning it into a family vacation, creating even more memories together as a family.
What’s On Your Bucket List? Greece, a river cruise, and Bora Bora are at the top of my list! I am always up for a warm beachy vacation, but I am just as happy to spend a long, slow weekend at the lake. I love a little adventure, a lot of relaxing, and making memories along the way.
A Favorite Foodie Find? I love discovering the locals’ spots that make the destination feel special. Talk to the locals – they have the best hidden gems others might not know about.

What does Taylor Never Travel Without? A coloring book & markers or colored pencils to keep me busy on longer layovers and flights.
A Favorite Foodie Find? Anywhere with good Birria Tacos, but especially from food trucks or small mom & pop restaurants!
What is Taylor’s Favorite Destination? The Monongahela National Forest in West Virginia. It was the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen, and the people in the area were so nice.

What is Your Favorite Destination and Why? Thailand is one of my favorite destinations, and somewhere I could see myself living someday. I’m drawn to the culture, the people, and the more relaxed and simple way of life.
