Julie G.

Years at Bursch Travel: 3.5

What did you do before Bursch Travel? After graduating with honors from the University of Kent at Canterbury, I worked for museums and antique auctioneers in the United Kingdom. After 22 years in the UK, I moved back to MN and am now using all of my European knowledge to help you get the best from your foreign trip.

What do you do for fun in your spare time? When I'm not traveling, I'm active in rabbit rescue. I also enjoy walking, biking and finding rummage sale gems.

Travel related specialties: I've completed the Disney College of Knowledge, the Brit Agent training program, and am also a Europe, Japan, Mexico and Jamaica travel specialist.

Favorite location and why? Japan. it was everything I thought it would be AND I got to visit a dream destination - Usagi Jima (Rabbit island).  Bliss!!

Troy R.

Years at Bursch Travel: 7

Travel experience previous to Bursch Travel: I started to love travel when my father bought an agency in Las Vegas in 1992. That love brought me to work at another travel agency in Northfield, Imperial Tour & Travel (in Portland, OR) and Tickets to Go Travel (in Las Vegas).

What parts of the world do you know best? Mexico & Central America, Australia.

What's your favorite destination and why? Oaxaca and Chiapas states in Mexico. There are beautiful beaches, critter filled jungles, spectacular ruins and wonderful locals to help you along the way. There are also not a lot of tourists in most of the areas so you can visit ruins and other attractions without the crowds of more popular areas of Mexico.

Travel bucket list?: Namibia, Sri Lanka, Romania and Peru.
