Encore Hotel, Las Vegas

I stayed at the Encore Hotel in February. I have also stayed at the Wynn a few times, so could compare.  The rooms were great, larger than the Wynn with a seating area for easily 5-6 people.  The rooms are laid out the same except for the seating area, and have floor to ceiling windows with an automatic open/close feature.  We (my sisters and I) were a little mystified by the electric switches but I think we had them figured out by the time we left. The bathrooms are the same as the Wynn, a separate toilet area and a double sink with a large tub and separate shower.  Service seemed to be good; we had trouble getting into our safe deposit box and someone was up to help within a few minutes. I would request a higher floor just for the view.

The hotel itself is much smaller than the Wynn, but is connected to it and we had signing privileges at all of their facilities. We ended up spending most of our time at the Wynn when we were hanging out at the hotel because there was more going on.  I like the Wynn hotel more, but the rooms were nicer at the Encore.  I would stay at either one again. The restaurants, bars and shops are spendy. I did not have the opportunity to spend time in the pool area at the Encore (too cold) but it looked very nice.  I did spend time at the Wynn's and it was very nice. They both have a European area.
