Family Vacation in Ixtapa

We had such a fun trip! Ixtapa was beautiful, hot and sunny! The resort was great for kids, the little kid waterpark was so much fun! There weren't many English speakers, but we never had too much difficulty communicating what we needed. They had fun activities for the kids (pinata making, a pirate party, shows). And the restaraunts were good too! We took a boat over to the island for one morning, which was fun. And we also took a cab to Ixtapa to swim with the dolphins, which was a highlight for the girls. I think I liked it better than Peurto Vallerta, but it's hard to say. Probably nothing can beat the beaches in the DR though! Thanks for your help!
