The highlight of my trip to Hawaii was surf lessons

There is nothing not special about Hawaii. Regardless of your interest whether it's a round of golf, variety of food or seeing some of nature's beauty - there is something for everyone in Hawaii.

It was amazing to see how much renovation of Waikiki is being done â€" including Honolulu.

When booking tours - be sure to book in advance. Some of the tours were very limited in space or were sold out - especially luaus. Anyone who does choose at the last minute may have a hard time getting into the event they are interested in. This is where it is important to work with a good travel agent.

This is a great destination for anyone looking for the experience of the destination or had the dream trip to Hawaii.

Some good advice is to get packages that include breakfast daily. This is a huge cost savings especially since most offer a buffet breakfast.

Anyone who is looking to book a tour when in Hawaii, especially Pearl Harbor, book it the very next day since they will probably be up early in the morning. It won't be as hard on them to wake up early if they wait until later on in the trip.

If travelling in the next few months, check in at least 90 minutes prior to departure. Since the departure of ATA and Aloha, Hawaiian has taken the brunt of the passengers to help them get rebooked and thing are very busy at the airports.
