Vacation Travel Advisor – All Bursch Travel Locations (Experienced Advisor)

Bursch Travel is adding to our team! Seeking a full-time, sales-driven, travel advisor who has a passion for travel and delivering great customer service.

Travel Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Build and retain client relationships.
  • Offer excellent customer service.
  • Provide priceless advice to world-wide destinations supported by state of the art technology.
  • Coordinate inspiring and memorable itineraries for clients by planning and selling domestic and international vacations.

Travel Advisor Requirements:

  • Close attention to detail.
  • Worldspan, Sabre or Apollo experience not required but considered a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication.
  • Passion for expanding personal global knowledge and sharing with others. (Training provided)
  • International travel experience required.
  • Will consider professionals without a travel advisor background if there is practical travel experience. Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant field is a plus.

Corporate Travel Advisor – All Bursch Travel Locations (Experienced Advisor)

We are on the hunt for a driven Corporate Travel Advisor to join our passionate team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Curate seamless travel experiences for corporate clients, tailored to their unique needs and budgets.
  • Leverage our state-of-the-art technology to craft efficient travel itineraries.
  • Provide expert advice on global destinations and activities.
  • Foster relationships with diverse corporate clients, ensuring a memorable service experience.

What You Bring:

Industry Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of the travel industry, including airlines, hotels, and transportation services. – Familiarity with travel regulations, policies, and visa/passport requirements.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in using travel booking systems like GDS (Global Distribution Systems) for reservations. – Comfort with modern travel management tools and technology for creating itineraries and managing client accounts.

Customer Service Excellence

  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and providers. – Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, focusing on client satisfaction.

Problem-Solving Skills

  • Capacity to navigate unforeseen challenges, such as travel delays or cancellations, swiftly and effectively. – Keen attention to detail to ensure error-free bookings and arrangements.

Organizational Skills

  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and bookings simultaneously. – Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Sales Skills

  • Ability to upsell or cross-sell services, enhancing the client’s travel experience.
