Years at Bursch Travel: 7 Years.
What are your travel related specialties?
Travel Bucket List: South Africa, Nepal, Costa Rica, Egypt
What's your favorite destination and why? I am positively in love with Peru. The people are the most kind, genuine people I have ever met. They are so proud of their culture and really enjoy sharing that with others. Life in Peru is slower, dinners last longer, the focus of life is enjoyment regardless of your status. Besides the people, the country itself is gorgeous, forested mountain, high country deserts and dense rainforests. Every type of landscape all in one place! Lastly, the cuisine is incredible! Alpaca, anyone?
What do you do for fun when not traveling? Trail running, road biking, hiking, climbing and camping.
Years at Bursch Travel: 7 years.
What do you do for fun when you're not traveling? Hiking, camping, yoga and spending time with my amazing family.
What are your travel related specialties? Disney, Mexico, Hawaii, Caribbean, Europe—London, France,Switzerland, Alaska and cruises.
What destinations are on your travel bucket list? Tahiti, Costa Rica, Australia, New Zealand.
What's your favorite location and why? Caribbean and Mexico because of the nice warm weather and beautiful beaches.
What's the most unusual trip that you've planned so far? One of the most exciting trips I booked recently was an Around the World Cruise. I spent many days planning and organizing this amazing vacation. It was great learning experience and so much fun to be part of this trip of a lifetime.
Years at Bursch Travel: I'm brand new to the team, but I've worked in the hospitality industry for 5 years.
What did you do prior to Bursch Travel? I moved to Rapid City after receiving my bachelors in Chemical Engineering. Now, within the last few years, my immediate family (parents, brother, sister-in-law, and niece) all followed me here! My most recent job was in hospitality at a retreat center in the Black Hills.
What do you do for fun when you're not traveling? Hiking and kayaking, along with cooking (especially for big groups!)
What's on top of your travel bucket list? Australia! My big goal is to take the Indian-Pacific Railway from Sydney to Perth.
Where is your favorite destination and why? It’s fairly close to home, but I adore Moab, Utah. There is so much to do and so many beautiful places to visit in a rather small space. Each trip is different.
What is something fun that none of us know? I took Argentine tango lessons for several years (and will again as soon as I find a studio!)
