Bursch Travel Purchases World Wide Travel in Casper and Gillette WY.
Bursch Travel Agency, Inc. has acquired World Wide Travel with offices in Casper and Gillette, Wyoming. World Wide Travel has been in business for many years and is the only local travel office in those communities.
Fred Bursch, president of Bursch Travel, stated “World Wide Travel presented an excellent opportunity for us to grow our business in Wyoming. With one office already in Sheridan, the addition of offices in both Casper and Gillette, we have grown to be the largest travel company in Wyoming.”
“Our purchase facilitated the retirement of long-time owners, Jim and Sandy DeRop. Aside from their retirement, we plan no personnel changes in the offices. We do plan to reinvest in equipment and bring new tools for the benefit of our customers.”
Bursch Travel has 19 locations in the Upper Midwest and Northern Rockies in the states of Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Nebraska and Wyoming.
