Great sightseeing, traditional entertainment and fabulous cultural elements define an amazing tour of the Imperial cities of Central Europe. A city tour of Budapest features the Matthias Church, where many kings have had their coronations. Travel back in time with a visit to a 14th-century castle, where knights with colorful costumes and authentic weaponry recreate the days of chivalry. In the grand city of Vienna, the baroque marvels of Schoenbrunn Palace, the summer retreat of the Habsburg dynasty, are revealed. See Prague’s Hradcany Castle and its famous Golden Lane. A memorable and moving performance of the Oberammergau Passion Play. Oberammergau was suffering from the bubonic Plague. The surviving villagers appealed for Divine intervention to save their families. They vowed that if God were to spare them, they would perform a Passion Play every ten years. They say not a single person fell victim to the Plague after that. Keeping their promise, the people of Oberammergau performed the first play in 1634 and have continued to do so throughout the centuries.
